The ZXBF-K183+ is a 50Ω coaxial reflectionless bandpass filter covering 17.5 to 18.5 GHz, designed to absorb stopband signals and eliminate reflections back to the source. It features a 2.92mm-Female connectorized package with dimensions of 17.1 x 15.2 x 10.0 mm and operates from -55°C to +105°C. Insertion loss is 5.2 to 6.5 dB within the passband, with stopband rejection of 47 dB typical in the upper stopband (27-32 GHz). Return loss exceeds 12.7 dB in the passband and 20 dB in the lower stopband. The filter is rated for 0.5 W RF power input in the passband at 25°C, derating linearly to 0.25 W at 105°C, and supports cascadable operation with RoHS compliance.
Mini-Circuits’ ZXBF Series reflectionless filters employs a novel filter topology which absorbs and terminates stopband signals internally rather than reflecting them back to the source. Reflectionless filters eliminate stopband reflections, allowing them to be paired with sensitive devices and used in applications that otherwise require circuits such as isolation amplifiers or attenuators.
