MDB-73H+ is a wideband RF mixer designed for applications such as satellite up and down converters, defense radar, and VSAT systems. It operates over a frequency range of 2.2 to 7.0 GHz for both RF and LO inputs, with an IF frequency range from DC to 1.6 GHz. The mixer features a double balanced design that provides high isolation levels, with typical LO-RF isolation of 34-39 dB and LO-IF isolation of 33-55 dB, minimizing the need for external filtering. The device is housed in a compact 4 mm x 4 mm MCLP package, which is RoHS compliant and suitable for volume production. It has a low thermal resistance, ensuring high reliability with a junction temperature of 88¬8C at a ground lead temperature of 85¬8C. The MDB-73H+ is also aqueous washable, making it easier to integrate into various manufacturing processes.
