The CMA-83LN+ is a pHEMT-based monolithic microwave integrated circuit amplifier designed for wideband, low-noise receiver applications in the 0.5 to 8 GHz range with 50Ω impedance. It is housed in a hermetic ceramic package with an exposed paddle, measuring 3×3×1.14 mm, and features a Ni-Pd-Au termination finish. The amplifier operates from a single +5 V or +6 V supply, achieves a typical noise figure of 1.3 dB at 2 GHz, a gain of 21.5 dB at 2 GHz, an output P1dB of +20.3 dBm at 2 GHz and +6 V, and an output IP3 of +30.1 dBm at 2 GHz. It meets MIL-STD-202 and MIL-STD-883 qualification standards for hermeticity, thermal shock, vibration, mechanical shock, and HTOL. ESD ratings are Class 1A (HBM) and Class M1 (MM).
The CMA-83LN+ is a pHEMT based wideband, low noise MMIC amplifier with a unique combination of low noise, high IP3, and flat gain over wideband making it ideal for sensitive, high-dynamic-range receiver applications. This design operates on a single +5 V or +6 V supply, is well matched for 50Ω and comes in a tiny, low profile package (3x3x1.14 mm), accommodating dense circuit board layouts. The amplifier is bonded to a multilayer integrated LTCC substrate, then hermetically sealed under a controlled Nitrogen atmosphere with gold-plated cover, eutectic Au-Sn solder, and Ni-Pd-Au termination finish. CMA-series amplifiers are capable of meeting MIL requirements for gross leak, fine leak, thermal shock, vibration, acceleration, mechanical shock, and HTOL. The testing can be done if requested.
