The MIC4600 is a 28V half-bridge MOSFET driver designed for cost-sensitive applications requiring high performance, such as networking equipment and DC-DC regulators. It features an integrated 5V LDO for single-supply operation, adjustable dead-time circuitry to prevent shoot-through, and independent control inputs for high- and low-side drivers. The device operates from a 4.5V to 28V input supply with a typical quiescent current of 450 μA and supports switching frequencies up to 1.5 MHz. It provides 2 Ω gate drive capability with 15 ns rise and 13.5 ns fall times into a 3 nF load, and has a propagation delay of 20 ns. The MIC4600 is packaged in a 3 mm × 3 mm VQFN-16 package with an exposed thermal pad and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
