The optris CTlaser G5 is an infrared thermometer designed for measuring glass temperatures using a double-laser aiming system. It has a sensing head with IP65 (NEMA-4) protection, operates in ambient temperatures up to 85 °C, and weighs 600 g. Spectral range is 5.0 μm, with optical resolutions of 45:1 or 70:1 depending on model. Temperature ranges span 100 °C to 1650 °C across variants, with system accuracy of ±1% or ±1.5 °C, whichever is greater. Exposure time is 10 ms for high-speed models. Analog outputs include 0/4-20 mA and 0-5/10 V; digital interfaces support USB, RS232, RS485, and Modbus RTU. Optional Ethernet and Profibus DP are available. Power supply is 8-36 V DC, drawing up to 160 mA. A 635 nm, 1 mW laser is integrated for targeting.
