The optris CTlaser 05M is a non-contact infrared pyrometer designed for precise temperature measurement of molten metals between 1000 °C and 2000 °C. It features a 525 nm spectral range, 150:1 optical resolution, and a 1 ms exposure time. The sensing head has an IP65 (NEMA-4) rating, operates in ambient temperatures from -20 °C to 85 °C, and includes a double laser visor for accurate target marking. It offers analog outputs (0/4-20 mA, 0-5/10 V, thermocouple J/K), digital interfaces (USB, RS232, RS485, CAN, Profibus DP, Ethernet), and programmable signal processing functions. The system accuracy is ±1 % of reading for temperatures ≤1100 °C and ±(0.3 % of reading +2 °C) above. Weight is 600 g for the sensing head and 420 g for the electronics. Power supply ranges from 8 to 36 V DC.
