The M5600 liquid level switch has a stainless steel stem and a stainless steel float. Stainless steel stems and floats are well suited for corrosive environments as well as food processing, medical, heating, and cooling applications.
The M5600 is also available with a thermocouple or RTD integrated into the design. This elimates the need for multiple penetrations into the tank since both level and temperature may now be measured through one device.
