The L-com DP245-NF is an outdoor diplexer designed for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless LAN systems. It features a nominal impedance of 50 ohms and operates within a pass band of 900-2500 MHz for the low port and 4900-5875 MHz for the high port. The insertion loss is typically 0.75 dB for the low band and 1.0 dB for the high band, with a maximum ripple of 0.75 dB for both bands. The voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is 2.0 max for the low band and 2.5 max for the high band. This diplexer has a power rating of 1 watt and operates within a temperature range of -40¬8 C to +85¬8 C. Its dimensions are 4.6 x 2.6 x 1.7 inches (117 x 66 x 43 mm), and it weighs 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg). The product is suitable for use in various applications, including 802.11a/b/g access points and routers, and is constructed for industrial-grade, weatherproof outdoor use.
The L-com 2.4/5 GHz Diplexer was designed to split 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz from a single radio feed to separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz antennas. Many dual-band 802.11a/b/g radios share a single antenna. The DP245 splits these signals so that two separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz antennas can be used to improve performance. In addition, the DP245 can also be used to combine 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz signals onto a single cable. The DP245 features N-Female connectors.
Application Note:
For higher power applications we recommend the BP2458-NF.
