Knight Optical (UK) Ltd Sodium Chloride (NaCl) Spectroscopic Grade Window 41x23x5mmthk WNA2341

Description
Sodium Chloride (NaCl), commonly known as rock salt, is a soft, highly soluble and hydroscopic material. It transmits over a broad wavelength range of about 0.25 to 16μm and is ideal for lenses and other optical components for use the UV and IR range. Sodium Chloride has a maximum operating temperature of 400°C and requires protection from atmospheric conditions due to moisture degradation. Coating is recommended where the material is exposed and a high standard of polish can be achieved under humidity controlled conditions. It has a hardness of HK18.2, which is soft, and therefore requires careful handling. Knight Optical supply a range of quality Sodium Chloride optical windows either from stock or custom made to your specification for a range of applications. Every component is individually tested by our highly skilled technicians in our state of the art metrology lab to ensure all components meet our high quality standards. Contact our multilingual technical sales team and discover how Knight Optical’s high quality Sodium Chloride windows and service can improve your instrumentation and supply chain experience.
