The 3022-2 is a surface mount insulated coin cell retainer designed for holding two 20mm coin cell batteries in series, supporting 6V or 3V applications. It features a high-temperature nylon 46 insulator rated UL 94V-0 to prevent shorting and tin-nickel plated phosphor bronze contacts. The part has a height of 0.240 inches (6.1 mm) and a length of 0.877 inches (22.3 mm), with pad layout dimensions of 0.156 inches square minimum. It is supplied unassembled and compatible with automated pick-and-place assembly and wave soldering processes.
