New Home or Utility Standards The Retrotec Duc-Tester is designed specifically to measure residential duct leakage. It can then be used to locate duct leaks and to measure the results of duct sealing. Use the Model Q32 Duc-Tester to verify duct leakage for compliance with codes such as Title 24 in California. The typical 5 Ton air-conditioning system must have 120 cfm of leakage or less to pass California standards. The Q32 will easily test any residential system because it will create 600 cfm which is 5 times more than that.
