The laser distance sensor O5D150 - O5DLCPKG/US with background suppression from ifm is the first standard sensor with time of flight measurement. The sensor guarantees a reliable background suppression and color-independent object detection, even in the case of an oblique angle to the object. The sensor has two complementary normally closed/normally open contacts and the range is 0.03-2 m. The switch point of the laser distance sensor O5D150 - O5DLCPKG/US can be easily set via buttons on the unit. The current distance is indicated on a 3-digit LED display in cm. The O5D150 - O5DLCPKG/US is the clever alternative to the regular diffuse reflection sensors in many applications.
