Giga-tronics Incorporated RF Power Meter 8501A

Description
The 8501A is a used Peak RF Power Meter from Gigatronics. Radio frequency (RF) power meters are the electronic test equipment of choice to collect information, analyze RF power, and display information in an easy-to-read digital format. Engineers use RF power meters to measure and document pulsed RF signals, noise-like signals, and pseudorandom signals.. Additional Features: Frequency range: 30 MHz to 40 GHz (sensor dependent) Power range: -20 to +20 dBm pulse mode, -40 to +20 dBm cw mode Pulse response; pulse width: 1 s to CW Reading rate: 70/s to 100/s Accuracy: ±3% Internal 1.0 GHz, 1.0 mW power reference The Gigatronics 8501A Single Channel Peak Power Meter combine CW power measurement with the ability to make precise peak power measurements at any point on a pulsed waveform. This dual, built-in capability lets you make CW measurements and analyze pulsed waveforms with a single instrument. The meter is available in a single or dual channel configuration. A built-in display shows measurements such as rise time, fall time and pulse width plus the pulse profile. And you can use a reference cursor to read peak power at any point on the pulse waveform. Gigatronics CW and Peak power sensors contain an EEPROM programmed with the frequency calibration factors measured at the factory, or in your cal lab. When you key in the frequency at which power is being measured, the meter automatically applies the correct cal factor from the sensor EEPROM.
