The TwinEye inspection camera is a professional device designed specifically for chimney and flue inspections, and can be either pushed up the channel, or turned around to provide a downwards view in cases with extreme soot and other debris.
The camera features twin CCTV camera sensors, one with a forward (straight down) view, and the other with a sideways (perpendicular) view. The live image from either camera unit can easily be displayed and recorded during inspections. Both camera sensors feature their own separate illumination, solid stainless steel construction, replaceable glass lens windows, and an adapter to connect directly to optional rods and brushes to help position and insert the camera.
In addition to the dual cameras with the interchangeable live image, the TwinEye chimney camera features a built in 7 inch TFT LCD color monitor, variable, ultra bright white LED illumination (for each camera sensor), with an acrylic lamp window, live recording directly to an SD memory card, full playback on the monitor or a computer/laptop.
Between the Camera head and the monitor of the TwinEye is a 25 meter (82 foot), or optional 45 meter (147 foot), flexible cable on a drum. Through the adapter on the camera head, fast connecting rods or brushes can easily be attached to center the cameras, to assist with pushing the cameras up the chimney, and to rotate the cameras to view in a 360 degree circle.
The TwinEye was designed and built in the UK, through 29 years of manufacturing experience in the CCTV industry and 9 years of experience in the chimney camera market. They are used specifically for these types of inspections, unlike many sewer, or push, cameras that are re-marketed for these purposes.
