EVVO Semi Single Bipolar Transistors TIP42C

The TIP42C is a silicon PNP epitaxial transistor in a TO-220 package for audio, power linear, and switching applications. It has a collector-base voltage rating of -100 V, a collector-emitter voltage rating of -100 V, and a continuous collector current of -6 A. The device dissipates up to 65 W and operates with a junction temperature up to 150 °C. The thermal resistance from junction to case is 2.0 °C/W. The minimum DC current gain is 15 at -5 V collector-emitter voltage and -3 A collector current. The collector-emitter saturation voltage is -1.5 V at -6 A collector current and -0.6 A base current. It is a RoHS-compliant part and has a complementary NPN counterpart, the TIP41C.
