Daniel Measurement and Control Inc. Liquid Ultrasonic Flow Meter Model 3804

Description
Ultrasonic technology has become the method of choice for metering applications requiring high accuracy, flow dynamics intelligence, measurement reliability, low maintenance and low pressure drop. Daniel liquid ultrasonic flow meters are used in custody transfer, allocation and check-metering, leak detection and inventory control applications. With no moving parts, these meters are ideal for bi-directional flows. MeterLink, an advanced operation and diagnostics software package gives users insight to real-time flow phenomena such as cross-flow and swirl angle, and enables remote diagnoses of flow disturbances using “Snapshot and playback” feature. Model 3804 ultrasonic flow meters are HART®-capable: process variable and diagnostic data can be communicated throughout Emerson’s PlantWeb® digital architecture. High temperature and high viscosity transducers make Daniel Model 3804 Ultrasonic Meter an ideal choice for heated crude oil refining applications The high temperature transducers are designed for use in temperature from -58°F to +302°F (-50°C to +150°C), making it an ideal choice for a wide variety of challenging heated crude oil refining applications. The high viscosity transducers extend the viscosity range of Daniel liquid ultrasonic meter up to 1,000 centistokes (cSt) with Reynolds numbers above 10,000 to address a greater variety of applications. The high temperature and high viscosity transducers allow site managers the possibility to standardize on Daniel Model 3804 ultrasonic meter across a wide range of process environments and have access to a more cost effective and viable alternative for high temperature and high viscosity applications such as refining of heavy vacuum oil, Naphtha, and kerosene.
