The precise focusing mechanism keeps optics from rotating, which helps maintain boresight accuracy and a minimally aberrated focused beam. Two full rotations of the focus knurl covers the complete focus range. Focus lock secures position.Rear accessory attachments are an effortless, cost-effective way to change beam expander magnification.Simply disassemble the back portion of the beam expander (unscrew three socket head cap screws) and replace it with the desired magnification attachment listed below. For instance, the 4x Beam Expander (#58-271) can be changed to a 6x Beam Expander by utilizing the 6x Rear Attachment (#58-274) in place of the 4x attachment that was originally included.The M14 to C-Thread Adapter (#58-478) allows users to easily integrate the diode beam expanders with any of our C-Mount Components as well as to any of our Helium-Neon Lasers (adds 4mm to system length). The Dovetail Adapter (#58-275) is required to connect the High-Performance Laser Diode Modules to our Laser Diode Beam Expanders (adds 7.8mm to system length). The Mounted Anamorphic Prism Pair (#47-274) connects directly to the male M14 thread on the Laser Diode Beam Expanders.
