Conformal Coating with Secondary Moisture Cure Dual-cure 9481-E-PZ conformal coating is chemically resistant and free of Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO) and PIP 3:1. It is a UV/Visible light- and moisture-cure material that contains no added solvents. It is formulated to ensure complete cure in applications where shadow areas on high-density printed circuit boards are a concern. The coating flows underneath components into shadow areas and cures over time with ambient moisture. The product fluoresces vivid blue when exposed to UV light (365 nm) for easy inspection of coating coverage. 9481-E also features a low viscosity for easy dispensing. This product is optimized for coating thicknesses between 25 mic [0.001 in] and 127 mic [0.005 in] and excels in coating applications where chemical and abrasion resistance is critical. Dymax dual-cure materials contain no nonreactive solvents. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, or flood lamps, they deliver optimum speed and performance for conformal coating. Dymax lamps offer the ideal balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures. Dymax 9481-E-PZ has MIL-I-46058C, IPC-CC-830C, and UL 746-E approvals.
