The Type 401C is a low-ESR aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-ripple current applications requiring full performance from -55 °C to +105 °C. It features Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode construction for uniform heat dissipation in all mounting orientations. The part 401C154M010AD8 has a capacitance of 150,000 µF, a rated voltage of 10 Vdc, a maximum ESR of 9.7 mΩ at 120 Hz and 6.4 mΩ at 20 kHz, and a ripple current rating of 21.5 A at 25 °C and 23.1 A at 85 °C. It is housed in a case measuring 1 3/8 inches diameter by 4 5/8 inches length. The capacitor meets EIA IS-749 standards with a 2,000-hour life test at 85 °C and a 4,000-hour life test at 105 °C under rated voltage.
