The 106HC5700KR is a self-healing polypropylene film capacitor designed for high AC voltage and high current applications such as induction heating and tank circuits. It has a capacitance of 10 μF, a rated KVAR of 500, and a maximum RMS current of 1000 A at 100 kHz. The capacitor operates with a maximum core temperature of +85°C and a surface temperature limit of +45°C, beyond which the KVAR rating de-rates by 2.25% per °C. Its maximum ESR at +25°C is 0.6 mΩ. The device is flame retardant to UL94V0, has a self-inductance of less than 3 nH, and features a terminal style R with dimensions of 95 mm in diameter, 71.5 mm in height, and a 60 mm lead spacing.
