The Type 101C is a low-ESR aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-ripple current military and industrial applications, operating from -55 °C to 105 °C. This part features a 3-inch diameter, 3.5-inch length, and a high-current stud terminal with M12 thread. It has a capacitance of 55,000 µF, a rated voltage of 50 Vdc, a maximum ESR of 6.6 mΩ at 25 °C, and a ripple current rating of 32.2 A at 85 °C. Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode construction ensures efficient heat dissipation in all mounting orientations. The capacitor meets a 5,000-hour load life specification at 105 °C and full load, with capacitance tolerance of -10% to +50%.
