The Type 101C is a low-ESR, wide-temperature aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-ripple current applications in military and industrial environments, operating from -55 °C to +105 °C. This part has a capacitance of 10,000 µF, a rated voltage of 50 Vdc, and a tolerance of -10% +75%. It uses a 1 3/8 inch diameter by 2 5/8 inch length case with a high post terminal and standard can style. The capacitor has a maximum ESR of 22.0 mΩ at 25 °C and a ripple current rating of 10.5 A at 85 °C. It features Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode construction for improved heat dissipation and meets a 5,000-hour load life test at 105 °C. Capacitance remains above 90% at -40 °C, and the impedance ratio at -55 °C is no more than three times that at +25 °C.
