PIR Motion Detector This IC senses the signal from a passive infrared (PIR) sensor to serve as a motion detector in security systems. The analog section provides the sensor amplifier, low pass filter and window comparator functions. The digital section includes logic to minimize false alarms and “self test” functions to insure the system is operating correctly. Its operating current is extremely low to support battery operated systems. Features: Wide Supply Range (2.4V to 6.0V) Low Active Current (< 5uA) Dedicated PIR Sensor Amplifier Switched Capacitor Low Pass Filter Window Comparator RC Timer Temperature Range = -40°C to +70°C
