The HCL-4-9007 and HCL-9008 are 300 MHz log amplifiers designed for signal level detection in the 120 to 480 MHz range, with a dynamic range of 0 to -70 dBm and a log linearity of ±1.0 dB at 25°C, degrading to ±1.5 dB over temperature. The device provides a sensitivity slope of 25 mV/dB at 25°C with ±5% max variation over temperature, a rise time of 30 ns maximum, and a fall time of 120 ns maximum. It operates from ±15 VDC supplies, drawing 85 mA and 180 mA respectively, with an operating temperature range of -54°C to +85°C. Input and output VSWR are each 2.0:1 maximum, and the limited IF output is 0 ±2 dBm.
