The MCPL-4-9044 is a miniature intermediate frequency successive detection logarithmic amplifier with integrated hard limiting, designed for phase interferometric receiver applications. It is housed in a hermetically sealed, welded package measuring 1.3" x 0.95" x 0.25". The device operates from 500 to 1250 MHz with a frequency flatness of ±2 dB max, dynamic range of -65 to +5 dBm, and slope of 30 mV/dB nominal. Tangential signal sensitivity is -70 dBm max, linearity ±1.0 dBm max, rise time 20 ns max, and fall time 35 ns max. Limited RF output power is +13 to +16 dBm, with insertion phase variation of 1.2°/dB max. Power supply requirements are +5 VDC and -5.2 VDC, each at 150 mA max. RF input uses GPO male connectors and DC power uses pins. Operating temperature ranges from -54°C to +85°C.
