The PRD3 two-stage non-relieving diaphragm regulator improves upon our award winning PRD2 by incorporating larger ports and an improved valve design. It weighs approximately 66 grams in brass and stainless steel, and about 25 grams in aluminum. It accurately reduces high-pressure inputs (up to 500 psi) down to 0 to 20 psi (and is especially suited to low pressure regulation such as 1/2 psi.) with minimal droop or rise even with wide swings in inlet pressure. The Beswick two-stage diaphragm regulator is an excellent choice if the inlet pressure will decay over time such as with hydrogen storage tanks commonly used in hydrogen fuel cell applications. Both the inlet and outlet ports are tapped 10-32 UNF. Its lightweight design allows convenient in-line mounting however a 10-32 threaded panel mount option is also offered. Applications include hydrogen fuel cells, medical equipment, instruments, laboratory equipment, ink jet print engines, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
