The AWH Series consists of insulated tape heaters designed as high-temperature, flexible electric heating elements in tape form, with leads on the same end. These heaters feature a dual, knitted serpentine construction for minimized thermal stress and extended life, a multi-stranded wire element for high-temperature flexibility, and a heavy braided outer cover. They are rated for 1400°F yarn insulation and a low watt density of 13 watts per square inch. Standard configurations include 2-foot high-temperature leads with a plug. Available lengths range from 2 to 8 feet with corresponding wattages of 156, 312, 468, and 624 watts at 120 volts.
