This stage is fitted with a standard clear aperture 1 inch (25.4mm) or 2 inch (50.8mm) and rotates continuously through a full 360 degrees. It is convenience for holding the optics firmly with a threaded ring. The coarse adjustment by thumbscrew is used for quick positioning to a desired angle. An easily accessible set screw in the side is used to fix it at any desired angle.
