The SABMB2 is a 2-channel printed circuit board designed to balance two supercapacitors in series using ALD9100XX SAB MOSFETs. It features a compact 0.6 in. by 1.0 in. form factor with mounting holes and a single 8-lead SOIC footprint for one ALD9100XX device. The board includes terminals labeled V+, A, B, C, and V- with dual wiring holes per terminal for ease of connection. It supports cascading with other SABMBXX boards to balance longer supercapacitor chains and is rated for industrial temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. The PCB is manufactured with RoHS-compliant FR4 material and includes optional TO277 footprints for external Schottky rectifiers to clamp transient currents.
