The UT5-30G-705 is a laser diode module emitting 30 mW of optical power at 705 nm wavelength, designed for continuous operation with adjustable collimated focus and a spot size of less than 100 μm at distances under 10 inches. It operates on 3.3 to 5 V DC with a maximum current of 80 mA and supports TTL modulation up to 1 MHz. The module has a cylindrical anodized aluminum body measuring 12 mm in diameter and 51 mm in length, with a 200 mm cable and requires a heat sink for extended use. It is rated as Class IIIB, with wavelength drift of 0.2 nm/°C and power stability under 1% when heat-sinked. Operating temperature ranges from +10°C to +50°C, and storage temperature from -40°C to +80°C. The case is electrically connected to the circuit, and the laser emits visible radiation harmful to the eye.
UT series Infrared Laser modules are fully self-contained with integrated laser driver, laser diode and surface polished glass aspheric lenses.
Unique properties include compact anodized aluminum body, fine adjustable focus, low divergence and clean beam. Infrared lasers are available with wavelength ranges of 705nm to 1064nm. TTL modulation frequency of Max 1MHz can be attained. Beam shaping optics can be added to UT series lasers.
