The UL5-0.4G-650 is a Class 1, continuous-wave, single-mode red laser diode module emitting at 650 nm with an optical output power below 0.4 mW. It features an adjustable focus beam with a minimum spot size under 100 μm at distances under 10 inches and a divergence less than 1 mrad. The module is housed in an anodized aluminum case measuring 10.5 mm in diameter and 26 mm in length, with a 380 mm cable and operates on 3 to 5 V DC at less than 30 mA. It includes auto power control, ESD and reverse polarity protection, and requires a heat sink for extended use. Operating temperature ranges from +10°C to +40°C, with storage from -40°C to +80°C.
