The 54 Series is a family of pressure, vacuum, and temperature switches designed for OEM applications in medical, laboratory, fire protection, and heating equipment. It is available in compact enclosed NEMA 1 or open frame (skeleton) construction with single or dual SPDT snap-action switch outputs. Pressure models feature 1/4" NPT male or female connections, while temperature models include a 6-foot copper or 304 stainless steel capillary with a brass immersion stem. The switch set point repeatability is ±1% of full scale for most models, with electrical ratings of 15A at 125/250/480 VAC resistive, and limited DC capability at 24-30 VDC. It operates from -40 to 160°F ambient temperature, withstands 15 G shock and 2.5 G vibration, and complies with UL 508, CSA C22.2 No. 14, UL 873, CSA C22.2 No. 24, the EU Low Voltage Directive, and the Pressure Equipment Directive. Weight is approximately 12 oz.
