The 117 Series comprises pressure, vacuum, differential pressure, and temperature switches with a die-cast aluminum, epoxy-coated Type 4X enclosure and hermetically sealed SPDT or DPDT snap switches. It features stainless steel wetted parts, NACE MR0175 compliance options, and terminal block wiring. Available ranges include vacuum from 30" Hg to 3500 psi, differential pressure from 0.8 "wcd to 500 psid, and temperature from -120 to 640°F. The enclosure is rated for Division 2, Zone 2 hazardous locations with optional Zone 0 intrinsic safety compliance. Electrical ratings are 11 A at 125/250 VAC resistive and 5 A at 28 VDC. The switch is gold-flashed with a set point repeatability of ±1% or ±1.5% of range depending on model. Ambient temperature limits are -40 to 160°F except for select models limited to 0 to 160°F. Weight varies from 1.5 to 6.5 lbs.
The 117 Series is simple to install and operate for alarm, safety and emergency shutdown applications where preserving process uptime, and protecting personnel and equipment are paramount. A hermetically sealed switch protects switch contacts from dust, water, corrosive gas, and other particulates.
