The HE series is a family of reed relays designed for high-voltage switching applications in medical, test, and measurement equipment. This part features a single pole single throw normally open (SPST-NO) contact form with a maximum switching voltage of 7,500 VDC, a maximum switching current of 3.0 A, and a maximum carry current of 5.0 A. Contact resistance is a maximum of 150 mΩ at 0.5 V and 50 mA. Breakdown voltage is a minimum of 10 kVDC per EN60255-5. Operating time is a maximum of 3.0 ms and release time is a maximum of 1.5 ms. The relay is through-hole mounted with an axial wire option and operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. Insulation resistance is typified at 10¹² Ω, and contact capacitance is 0.2 pF at 10 kHz.
