The PRA series is a spring-free, air-loaded pressure regulator designed to maintain downstream pressures from 5 to 125 PSI with inlet pressures up to 150 PSI, eliminating spring corrosion through dual rolling diaphragms and a one-piece body with double U-cup seals. It features patented Fail Dry Safety Vents to warn of seal failure while allowing continued operation, and is constructed in molded thermoplastic materials including PVC, polypropylene, and Kynar PVDF with Viton or EPDM seals. Standard connections are female NPT, with additional options including socket, flanged, BSP, JIS, flare, and spigot. Available in sizes from 1/4" to 3", it offers high flow capacity and low pressure drop-off for precise control in corrosive or ultra-pure liquid applications.
Series PRA/PRAM features two opposing large area frictionless rolling diaphragms. Process pressure is applied to one of the diaphragms; air pressure is applied to the other. Because the air pressure can be maintained with more accuracy than the force provided by a spring, the PRA/PRAM offers greater sensitivity and less variance from set pressure than any thermoplastic pressure regulator previously available. The PRA/PRAM can be used in combination with Plast-O-Matic’s patented Stabilizer which measures downstream liquid pressure and provides continuous feedback control for even greater sensitivity and performance. Molded and machined valves in 1/4″ through 3″ and metric pipe sizes in popular thermoplastic materials with a wide range of connection types. Set range 5-125 PSI.
