The KL Series with Return Spring is a potentiometric position transducer for compact applications, featuring a 13 mm wide aluminum anodized housing, a sleeve bearing, and a conductive plastic resistance element. It offers electrical travel of 10, 25, or 50 mm with resistance values of 1 kΩ or 5 kΩ, ±20% tolerance, and ±1% independent linearity. Maximum applied voltage is 20 V, with recommended wiper current ≤1 µA and maximum wiper current of 10 mA. Operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +75°C, with IP65 protection and a life rating of 10 × 10⁶ movements. Maximum shaft loading is 1 N static or dynamic, and operational speed is limited to 0.1 m/s. Electrical connections consist of a 1 m PUR cable with three 0.06 mm² conductors. Weight is 22 g, 28 g, or 35 g depending on model.
