The 8302-UHV Picomotor Actuator is a vacuum-compatible linear actuator designed for ultra-high vacuum environments with a 25.4 mm travel range and a 9.5 mm shank. It provides minimum incremental motion under 30 nm, a maximum axial holding force of 90 N, and operates at vacuum levels down to 10⁻⁹ hPa using Teflon wires. The actuator maintains position without power, offers long-term stability, and is rated for operation between +10°C and +40°C with storage from -5°C to 40°C. Mounting is by 9.5 mm shank, with flying leads inside the chamber and a 2.1 m RJ22 cable outside. Rated lifetime exceeds 10⁹ cycles at 2000 Hz and 22 N load.
The 8302-UHV Ultra-High Vacuum Picomotor™ Actuator offers 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) travel and can be used in UHV environments (10-9 Torr) as well as for VUV/EUV applications.
