The JWL series is a high inrush rocker switch rated at 16A at 125/250V AC and 5A at 72V DC for telecommunications applications. It features a TV-8 rating for heavy inrush current handling, with an electrical life of 25,000 operations. The switch includes a polyphenylene ether rocker (UL94V-0), silver alloy contacts with copper and silver plating, and a polyamide housing (UL94V-0). It has a 26° angle of throw, maximum contact resistance of 20 milliohms, and operates from -25°C to +85°C. Terminals are brass with silver plating, and the design incorporates an interior seal for dust resistance.
