The AS series consists of subminiature slide switches designed for low-voltage, logic-level circuits, with a subminiature footprint of 0.100" x 0.100" (2.54mm x 2.54mm) terminal spacing. The switches feature a nonshorting contact mechanism, 50 milliohms maximum contact resistance, 500 megohms minimum insulation resistance, and 500V AC dielectric strength. Electrical and mechanical life is rated at 50,000 operations. The actuator is made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide, terminals are brass with gold plating, and the housing includes antistatic carbon-blended polyacetal. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. Soldering is recommended via wave soldering, and hand cleaning with alcohol-based solutions is permitted. The series is not UL or CSA certified.
