NKK Switches Process Sealed Subminiature Toggle A1RAV1

The A Series is a family of process-sealed subminiature toggle switches designed for low-voltage, low-current logic-level applications. Each switch features a totally sealed body with epoxy-sealed or ultrasonically welded terminals to resist contamination, a 26° angle of throw, and nonshorting (break-before-make) contact timing. Terminals have .100" (2.54mm) spacing conforming to standard PCB grids. The switches are rated for 0.4VA maximum at 28V AC/DC, with contact resistance not exceeding 50 milliohms and insulation resistance of at least 500 megohms at 500V DC. Mechanical life is 100,000 operations for On-None-On and On-Off-On circuits, with 50,000 operations for other circuits. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The A1RAV1 variant specifies a vertical terminal orientation with a single pole, ON-OFF-ON circuit, and a .394" (10.0mm) toggle, consistent with the series dimensions and construction. The series has not been tested for UL or CSA certification.
