The optris CTvideo 3M is a non-contact infrared thermometer for measuring temperatures from 50 °C to 1800 °C in metals and ceramics, featuring video sighting with a 640 x 480 px camera, a 1 mW 635 nm crosshair laser, and manual focusing for measurement distances from 90 mm. It has an IP65 rating, operates in ambient temperatures up to 70 °C with laser disabled, and includes USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity. The sensor head weighs 600 g and operates on 8-36 V DC with analog outputs of 0/4-20 mA and 0-5/10 V, complemented by programmable inputs for emissivity and ambient compensation. It supports peak, valley, and average signal processing with a 1 ms response time and system accuracy of ±(0.3% of reading + 2 °C).
The infrared video thermometer optris CTvideo 3M is perfectly suited for low-temperature measurement of metals and composite materials starting from 50 °C. Parallel use of the video module and the laser sight allow for an easy and exact measuring field marking even if the measuring object is located in hard-to-access areas.
