Features & Benefits 1. Cover Seal - EPDM or NBR O-ring seal prevents leakage. 2. Reversible Disc - EPDM or NBR encapsulated ductile iron with integral O-ring bead on both sides. 3. Slanted Body Seat - promotes fast, non-slam closure. 35° from full open to closed. 4. Position Indicator (optional) - provides exterior indication of valve position. Spring-loaded closure device. 5. Stainless Steel Hardware - for corrosion resistance. 6. Body/Cover - Ductile iron for added strength and reduced weight. 7. Non-Clog Body Design - smooth contoured surfaces and 100% port area allows passage of solids. 8. Fusion Bonded Epoxy - NSF-61 certified and conforms to AWWA C550. 9. Backflow Actuator (optional) - used to manually open disc when backflushing is required.
