Master Bond, Inc. High Performance Two Component Epoxy Coating System X5N

Description
Master Bond Polymer Systems X5N Nickel, X5G Graphite and X5SC Silver are novel, highly cost effective one component electrically conductive elestomer based adhesive/sealants for EMI/RFI shielding and related applications. They offer superior shielding over a wide frequency range, superior environmental resistance and excellent long term durability at a suprising modest cost. Master Bond electrically conductive adhesive/sealants X5N, X5G, and X5SC, feature uniquely favorable adhesive properties and can be easily applied to most surfaces including metals, ceramics, glass, rubbers, plastics, paper, wood, leather, concrete and stone, generally without the need for pretreatment. Application methods encompass use of air or airless spraying equipment, brushing, dipping and silk screening. Uniform continuous coatings characterized by high electrical conductivity and superior electromagnetic shielding effectiveness are readily formed which are highly resistant to weathering, abrasion, humidity and corrosion. Master Bond Polymer Systems X5N Nickel, X5G Graphite and X5SC Silver one component electrically conductive adhesive/sealants cure readily at ambient temperature (tack free time 15-20 minutes, full cure overnight) or more quickly at outstanding toughness, good elevated temperatures (45 minutes to 1 hour at 140-150°F). The cured materials exhibit environmental resistance and superior physical strengths as well as high electrical conductivity. The Master Bond Electrically conductive X5N, X5G and X5SC are composed of a superior oxidation and chemically inert high purity metal particles. The conductive particles have excellent heat dissapation characteristics and will not oxidize even when exposed for prolonged periods of time to an oxidizing environment. The service temperature range of the Master Bond X5N,X5G and X5SC adhesive/sealants is remarkably broad, from -80°F to + 300°F. They can be used directly from the container as no catalyst, accelerators, etc., have to be added. Viscosity can be adjusted so as to best meet specific application requirements with solvents such as toluene, xylene and methylene chloride. Storage stability in original closed containers at ambient temperatures exceeds 3 months.
