The 8572 is a single bar instrumentation knob with a colored polypropylene hub and a soft-touch thermoplastic elastomer gripping surface, supplied with a brass, nickel-plated insert and two set screws. It is designed for a .250 inch (6.4 mm) shaft diameter, with an outside diameter of .610 inch (15.5 mm), an inside diameter of .550 inch (14.0 mm), a height of .430 inch (10.9 mm), and a nut clearance bore diameter of .090 inch (2.3 mm). The knob is finished in black with a gray inlay.
