The 3022 is a surface mount insulated coin cell retainer designed for installing two 20mm coin cell batteries in series, supporting 6 volt applications with battery references 2020, 2025, or single 2032 cells. It features phosphor bronze contacts with tin-nickel plating and a high-temperature nylon 46 insulator rated UL 94V-0 to prevent shorting. The retainer measures 0.877 inches (22.3 mm) in length and 0.240 inches (6.1 mm) in height, with pad layout requiring a minimum 0.156 inch (3.96 mm) square contact area. It supports automated pick-and-place assembly and wave soldering, and is available on tape and reel with 250 pieces per reel.
