The 2479RB is a three-cell AAA battery holder designed for PCB mounting with a woven nylon ribbon for easy battery removal. It features polypropylene base, spring steel nickel-plated contacts, and phosphor bronze tin-plated PC pins. The holder accommodates AAA batteries in series, with 6.0 inch (#26 AWG) stripped and tinned wire leads. It is RoHS compliant and supports shock and vibration resistance. The unit measures 2.086 inches (53.0 mm) in length and 0.512 inches (13.0 mm) in width. The ribbon design permits the holder to be mounted remotely from the PCB, allowing the connector to be soldered separately for efficient board utilization.
