The THM 1028C is a snap-on retainer cover for AA batteries, designed to secure the cell against shock and vibration and prevent shorting. It is used with the THM low profile holder series and features a diameter of 1.360 inches (34.5 mm) with a mounting hole of 0.279 inches (7.1 mm). The cover is incompatible with the base, which is made of high-temperature nylon 46, UL 94V-0, and uses tin-nickel plated contacts rated for operation from -60°F to +293°F (-51°C to +145°C). The cover fits the 1028 holder, designed for AA batteries, and is packaged in quantities of 50 per tray.
