The 304GC-024-CN-R is an amplified speaker designed for supervised alarm notification systems, capable of producing tones or voice messages through a plug-in UTM tone card or external source. It features a cast aluminum housing with a spun aluminum protector, Type 3R, IP54 enclosure, and is ULC Fire Listed. Operating at 24 Vdc, it has a fused input and output, digital signal amplification, and an adjustable gain control ranging from 0 dBa to 108 dBa at 10 ft (0 dBa to 118 dBa at 1 m). The unit supports indoor/outdoor use and is compatible with fire alarm and suppression control panels. Models 304GC, 314GC, 304GC-CN, and 314GC-CN Amplified Speakers are designed to produce crisp, clear tones in supervised alarm notification systems. These amplified speakers can broadcast tones generated by a tone card installed into the speaker (the plug-in 32-tone UTM*) or by a central tone source in a voice evacuation or paging system. When live public address or voice messages are required, plug-in Connector Cards (AM25CK or AM70CK) interface with the Vrms of the EVAC panel.
Both amplified speakers are compatible with fire alarm and suppression supervised control panels and power boosters.
The rugged construction and high output of these speakers make it ideal for use in harsh environments with high ambient noise levels. Both models feature an internal gain control for adjustment to the suit area.
