The OV07740 family from OmniVision are high sensitivity VGA CMOS image sensors. Designed for use in notebook cameras and webcams, the OV07740 image sensors offer full functionality of a single-chip VGA camera from a compact package. They utilise OmniPixel3-HSâ„¢ technology which improves image capturing performance for extremely low lighting conditions, without the need for flash. The OV07740 operates at 60 fps in VGA resolution or 120fps in QVGA resolution, enabling the user to control the quality of the image. The OV07740 also includes onetime programmable (OTP) memory. Suitable applications for the OV07740 image sensors include, PC multimedia, security, surveillance, toys and games.
