The EVP series proportional control valves are 2-way valves for precise air or gas flow control, operated by input current to achieve proportional output. This variant, identified by the orifice code 25 and 0-5 VDC input range, uses a 0.025-inch orifice and is rated for a maximum pressure of 100 psig. It features a single moving part for long life and low power consumption of 1.9 watts at 72°F. The valve is available in in-line or manifold mounting configurations with #10-32 inlet and outlet threads. Standard seal material is nitrile, with EPDM and FKM options. Dimensions include a 1.560-inch length and 0.875-inch width for the in-line mount, with #6-32 mounting holes on the base. The valve operates within a temperature range of 32°F to 132°F.
Clippard is pleased to offer the EVP Series Proportional Control Valve as part of our Electronic Valve product line. This product combines the features of the existing EV series valve—long life, low power, and Clippard's reputation for high quality components—with the additional capability of proportional control. The EVP series valve provides air or gas flow control, and varies the output flow based on the current input to the solenoid. The consistent gain of this valve provides a high degree of control for many applications.
